1. Direct Answer: How Do You Make Slowed Reverb on a Phone?

Open the slowed reverb generator in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android, upload an audio file from your phone, lower the speed, add reverb, preview the chorus, and export as MP3 or WAV.

You do not need a separate app for a basic slowed reverb edit. The main thing is to use moderate settings and preview before exporting.

2. Best Mobile Settings

Phone speakers can exaggerate mids and hide low bass, so start with clean settings instead of maxing every slider.

  • Speed: 0.80x to 0.85x.
  • Reverb mix: 35% to 42%.
  • Room size: 2.0s to 3.0s for vocals, 3.5s to 4.5s for dreamy edits.
  • Pitch: +1 semitone if the vocal sounds too deep.
  • Bass: +2 dB to +4 dB, lower if the export crackles.

3. iPhone Workflow

On iPhone, use Safari and choose the file from the Files app. If your track is inside a streaming app, download or export a DRM-free audio file first because protected streaming tracks cannot usually be edited directly.

After export, check the Downloads folder in Files. If the download does not appear, check Safari download settings and try a shorter file.

4. Android Workflow

On Android, use Chrome and choose the track from Downloads, internal storage, Google Drive, or your file manager. If the file is in a cloud app, downloading it locally first can make the workflow smoother.

After export, look in Downloads. If the browser slows down, close other tabs or use a shorter source clip.

5. Mobile Troubleshooting

If export takes a while, the file may be long or your phone may be low on memory. Trim the source audio or close other apps before trying again. If the final audio sounds muddy, reduce reverb mix or room size. If it distorts, reduce bass boost first.

For short-form video, export MP3 for easy sharing. Use WAV if you plan to edit the audio again in another app.
