Full Workflow for Best Results
Step 1: Choose Your Source File

Step 3: Set the Speed First
Speed determines the emotional character. 0.80x–0.88x is the classic slowed reverb range. Below 0.75x, lyrics become hard to understand. Above 0.90x, the effect is subtle. Set speed before adjusting anything else.
Step 4: Add Reverb
Reverb wet mix controls how much of the effect you hear. Start at 35–45%. Decay controls how long the reverb tail lasts — 2.0s–3.0s for vocals, 3.5s–4.5s for dreamy edits. Less is more: too much reverb buries vocals.
Step 5: Fine-Tune Pitch and Bass
Slowing lowers pitch, and the pitch control can lift it back. Be aware that speed and pitch drive the same playback rate here, so they multiply: adding +1 semitone to 0.85x puts the track at 0.90x, not 0.85x with a brighter vocal.
